In July, we challenged you to Onyx Trivia for a chance to win some iTunes cash and become our next Sidekick. Meet our winner, Neil Bell! He's a good friend of ours and likes billboards... a lot. 

Q: Please state your name, age, hometown and Twitter handle.

Neil R. Bell, 32 years young, Montgomery, AL. @NeilRBell 

Q: How do you spend a typical day? 

Thinking about billboards, selling ads on billboards, building billboards, looking at billboards and thinking about looking at billboards.  Pretty much billboards.   

Q. If you could be any animal, what would it be?

Probably a cat whose owner wears cat sweatshirts. They seem to have it pretty good.   

Q. Coffee of choice?

Venti (it means 20), non-fat, two splenda latte. Sometimes just a large if Venti is not available.  

Q. Best concert/show you've ever been to?

I would have to say Phish in Atlanta, summer of 1997. Nuts.

Q. If you could use the Onyx staff’s skills for one day, what would you have us do for you?

Anyone there know how to make kettle corn? 

Q. What inspires you?

Good design and problems that need solutions.  

Q. What’s the most beautiful thing you have seen recently?

It would have to be a either a drive I took through Idaho or seeing one last serving of ice cream left in the freezer when I thought there was none left. 

Q. If you could put the Onyx dot anywhere in the world, where would you put it?

I really don't know... I guess as a joke I would put it on someones shoe so they will think they stepped in gum.

Q. If you had to pick a name for the Onyx dot what would you call it?

Rutherford.

Q. How did you hear about Onyx?

Who hasn't heard about Onyx by now?

you should know

Kimberly is currently pursuing a B.S. in Editing, Writing & Media from the English Department at Florida State University. She has already attained a minor in Communication and plans to expand her horizons by completing a minor in Hispanic Marketing Communication as well. Kimberly spends most of her time in the Williams building; you can usually find her sitting on a window sill reading a book before classes.

In her spare time, Kimberly likes to paint. One of her favorite things to do is play the piano which she has been practicing for over nine years. She also enjoys writing short stories, and is working to get her pieces published.

Kimberly grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL and loves going to the beach. However, she loves the Chicago area and has deep family roots there. Although she is not sure if she can survive the winters, she loves that there is a beach in the city, even though the water is definitely too cold for her to swim in.
