When our clients come to Onyx for strategic rebranding, they can expect to have their faces melted with rebrand awesomeness. A lot of creative agencies whip up a new logo, change your company colors, and call it a day. But we really believe in creating a beautiful look and feel for our clients that also aligns with their hearts and souls. Not just a creative facelift, it’s a full blown cosmetic procedure with a side of inner healing (monk not included.)
So what’s the difference between a logo and a brand?
Here we go, it’s simple. A new logo without the strategy to back it up is like asking for a total makeover and getting a haircut. You’ll look different for a while, but then it grows out and people get used to it. Essentially, it’s business as usual, and nothing has changed. It’s pretty whack if you ask me.
Strategic rebranding is a total transformation. Like an extreme makeover with stylist, nutritionist, voice coach, personal trainer, without all the sappiness and melodrama (though we can’t guarantee you won’t shed a tear)—your brand is the sum total of your mission, vision, and message.
Not just a creative facelift, it’s a full blown cosmetic procedure.
Your brand not only tells your customers what you do, it reminds you of all you aspire to be. A great brand touches your emotions. Brands add flavor. Your brand expresses the personality of your company, so you want it to be attractive inside and out.
The more your customers interact with your identity, the stronger it gets. As customers fall in love with your brand, the more comfortable they feel, the more likely they are to form a stronger attachment.
Just like an attractive person, you may first notice a brand because of its cool logo or well-dressed business cards. There’s just something about it that makes you want to get closer. But there has to be substance behind the façade to make you fall in love. You need to hang out, have some late night heart-to-hearts, really appreciate the deep stuff—the inner beauty. Great brands have soul.
What’s your story? Is your brand helping your customers to fall in love with you?
